Short poems
Inspired by "Writing Down the Bones," particularly its chapter on time-limited poetry writing, I've embraced this practice. Here's a poem crafted in under two minutes:
Early Morning:
Smooth rays stain the viewOf a silent rise.
Wheels spinning, legs resting.
Every moment is a loud bang
Breaking the peaceful noise
Of a dark beginning.
